We take the protection of your information seriously. All user and product data handled by Dream Studio is encrypted both at rest and in transit using industry-standard AES encryption and TLS 1.3 protocols. Our databases are hosted on a SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2-certified platform that provides encryption throughout its infrastructure, private database connectivity, audit and security logs, and compliance with GDPR and PCI DSS 4.0 standards under a shared responsibility model.
These measures ensure that your personal information and content are stored and transmitted securely across our systems.
Except as described in this Privacy Policy, the Policy applies to any and all websites, mobile applications, and any other electronic and/or digital products and/or other services that are made available by Dream Studio and that link to this Policy, and our offline services (collectively, the "Services").

Regional privacy disclosures and rights. Additional disclosures for residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, California, and Nevada are set forth below.
6. Regional Privacy Disclosures
Residents of the European Economic Area and United Kingdom. Dream Studio is considered the "data controller" of the "personal data" we handle under this Policy. Dream Studio is responsible for deciding how to collect, use, and disclose personal data, subject to applicable law.
Our legal grounds may include contractual commitments, your consent where required by law, legitimate business interests that are not overridden by your rights and freedoms, and legal compliance.
In addition to the rights described in this Policy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. However, we encourage you to contact us first, and we will do our best to resolve your concern.
Residents of Nevada. If you are a Nevada resident, you have the right to opt out of the sale of certain personal information to unaffiliated parties by contacting us with the subject line "Nevada Do Not Sell Request" and providing your name and email address. We do not currently sell personal information as sales are defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.
Residents of California. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, we disclose the categories of personal information and sensitive personal information we collect and disclose for business or commercial purposes. These may include identifiers, financial information, commercial or transactional information, internet or electronic network activity information, general geolocation data, audio or video information, voluntarily provided User Content, other information that may identify you, and inferences drawn from information we collect.
We may collect sensitive personal information such as account log-in and password or other credentials that allow access to your account, and other sensitive personal information you voluntarily provide through the Services.
We may use third-party analytics services and online advertising services that may result in the "sharing" of online identifiers, cookie data, IP addresses, device identifiers, general location information, and usage information with advertising partners. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16.
Do-Not-Track disclosure. We do not respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals, as the Internet industry is still working on Do Not Track standards, implementations, and solutions.
California residents can make requests about their personal information as described in this Policy. The CCPA also allows you to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information if it is used for certain purposes. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information other than for purposes for which you cannot opt out under the CCPA.
7. Children's Privacy
The Services are not designed for minors under 18, and our Terms of Service prohibit use by anyone under 18. If we discover that an individual under 18 has provided us with "personal information," as defined in the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, we will close the account and delete the personal information to the extent required by law. We may, where permitted by law, retain certain information internally for purposes described in this Policy.
8. Security
Dream Studio implements technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Therefore, we do not promise and cannot guarantee the security of your information or communications.
9. Data Retention
In general, we keep your information for the time necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. The length of time for which we retain information depends on the purposes for which we collected and use it and your choices, after which time we may delete and/or aggregate it. We may also retain and use information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Popular Characters. If a Character you create and set to "Public" reaches a certain threshold of popularity, we reserve the right to preserve that Character's characteristics and keep that Character active on the Services, even if you otherwise delete your data and account. To ensure we do not retain information about you when this occurs, avoid submitting such information as part of the Character creation flow if creating a Public Character.
10. International Data Transfers
Our Services are global, and your information may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries outside the country in which you reside. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws in your country, and data may be accessible to law enforcement and national security authorities under certain circumstances.
Where we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland to countries that have not been deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards to legitimize the transfer.
These safeguards may include Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable; technical and organizational measures such as encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and security assessments; and transfers to recipients in countries recognized as providing adequate protection.
You may request a copy of the safeguards we use for international data transfers by contacting support@dreamwifey.com.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence as described above. Where consent is the legal basis for such transfer under applicable law, your use of the Services constitutes your consent to such transfer.
11. Links to Third Party Websites
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites or services. The collection, use, and disclosure of your information by third parties will be subject to their privacy policies, and not this Policy. We urge you to read the privacy and security policies of third parties before providing information to them.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may change this Policy to reflect changes in the law, our information practices, or the features of the Services. We will indicate the date of the most recent update in this Policy. If we make a material change, you will be provided with appropriate notice in accordance with legal requirements. By continuing to use the Services, you confirm that you have read and understood the latest version of this Policy.
13. Right to Be Forgotten
You may ask us to delete or remove Personal Data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it, where you have successfully objected to processing, where we may have processed your information unlawfully, or where we are required to erase your Personal Data to comply with local law.
We may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons, which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.
You may object to the processing of your Personal Data if you feel such processing impacts your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we process your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds to process your information which override your rights and freedoms.
14. Time Limit to Respond
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take longer if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
